2010 Calgary Stampede Queen & Princesses

The Calgary Stampede is pleased to introduce the 2010 Calgary Stampede Queen Katie Rochon and Princesses, Janelle Phillips and Kirstie Rougeau.

We are very excited to have these talented ladies on board to promote the greatest outdoor show on earth and the greatest city in Canada!

Katie Rochon

Katie Rochon - Stampede Queen
Katie is originally from Ottawa – but now considers herself a Calgarian. She is a student at the UofC, finishing a Psychology Degree and plans to attend law school after that. Katie enjoys reading, writing, and playing and teaching piano. Katie has always loved horses and has been riding for 12 years, competing in show jumping.

Kirstie Rougeau

Kirstie Rougeau - Stampede Princess
Kirstie is from Gleichen, but now lives in Calgary while going to school. She is taking Psychology at Mount Royal and plans to pursue a masters in Clinical Child Psychology. Kirstie enjoys volleyball, camping, being outdoors and riding horses.  She has been involved with 4-H for 9 years, shown western and English and rode with the Calgary Stampede Showriders for 2 years.

Janelle Phillips

Janelle Phillips - Stampede Princess
Janelle is from Cochrane. She is finishing the last practicum for her Education Degree, teaching grade 7 and 8 math and science in Cochrane. Janelle enjoys dance, kickboxing, photography and working with her dog. She has been around horses all her life, riding for pleasure and working cattle.
