• Must be a female not less than 19 years of age and not more than 24 years of age on January 1, 2008
• Must include a copy of your birth certificate with your entry form.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen.
• Must be a current resident and have been a resident of Alberta for a minimum of the last 12 months.
• Must have never been married nor have a child.
• Must agree not to marry during your reign.
• Must agree to reside within a 40 mile (64 kilometre) radius of Stampede Park. Place of employment or educational institution must also meet this requirement.
• Must have received a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a current, valid Alberta driver's licence and have full access to a vehicle.
• Must not have a criminal record and must consent to a security check.
• Competant riding ability is a necessity.

Judging

• You will be judged by a minimum of 28 local men and women from all walks of life.
• Members of the Calgary Stampede, Stampede Board of Directors, Stampede Management, staff, as well as members of the Queen Committee and their spouses are ineligible to judge.

The 2008 Calgary Stampede Queen & Princess Competition opens June 2, 2008.
